My cousin Melissa came over for a play date today and she brought a cute little gift for Salma, these hair clips. Super adorable and just plain sweet, Salma is already wearing her ballerina clip. Simple no fuss...

I met a super cool mommy today at Salma's swimming lesson. This mommy is from Sweden and she has three beautiful kiddies, she was telling me about this Swedish children's clothing line that she consults for and how they just opened up a US store in Greenwich, CT. I checked out the clothes online and they are really sweet and simple. I love this sweatshirt jacket. Go see Polarn O. Pyret!

I remember seeing this in a recent issue of House Beautiful, I love the floating shelf/desk and that ghost chair, I want it super bad!

Apple extravaganza...

This weekend we did our annual apple picking with the grandparents. We headed up to the Hudson Valley to Barton Orchards and the kiddies had a blast. The next few weeks will be filled with apple pie, apple sauce and apple juice.

Good Eats...

I was reading my GOOP and saw this. Super excited about the new Mario Batali venture, Eataly, grocery store/restaurant. Genius! The hubby and I have been to a few of Batali's restaurants and loved each one. Now I can eat and then shop. Another perk is that the Mr. works in that area, so perhaps if he is reading my blog today he will bring me home a surprise?
