Sweets of all sweets...
We love these amazing Argentinean sweets, known as alfajores. When we hear of anyone taking a trip down there we beg them to bring some back. No trip to Argentina would be complete without tasting the delectable alfajor- a sweet treat made of two buttery cookies with Dulce De Leche smeared in the middle. Argentineans eat them for breakfast, for dessert and as a snack in the afternoon. One of our dear friends is there right now on Holiday and she knows that she better not return without bringing these back!

Delicious! Love alfajores! You can totally DIY a quick version by sandwiching some jarred dulce de leche between shortbread cookies and rolling them in coconut.
