I love the idea of a built in bed! My cousin Gina told me I should do this for my daughters room, it's kinda on the small side and one of her walls is where the roof of the house slopes down and below the slope is a built in bookcase. I'd like to widen up that nook and make it her bed, how cute would that be!
I love that idea! In my first apartment out of college I took the doors off a closet and pushed my mattress partially into the nook it created. It was so cozy and saved me quite a bit of space.
