I woke up at 5:40 this morning to watch the Royal Wedding, I remember my mom watching when Princess Diana married Prince Charles. LOVED the dress, very pretty and elegant. I was a tad behind schedule taking Jack to school because I didn't want to miss the first kiss on the balcony and as I dropped him off I hear other moms saying sorry" we are late we were watching the wedding", too funny!

Mario Batali...

Last Night I headed into NYC to meet up with my best girlfriends for dinner at Plein Sud on West Broadway. Cathy and I were coming from Grand Central so we jumped into a cab and on our way down we stop at a light and to our left on his Vespa was Mario Batali, first thing we notice are the orange Crocs and we look at each other and we both say "is that...? it is!" I practically hung out the window and had a quick chat with Mr. Batali. I rambled on about how me and my mommy friends are going to dinner next week to Tarry Lodge and how we love it there and he smiled and said thanks! I'm sure he also thought I was crazy... but love it when I see a celebrity and they are nice.

Party West Coast Style...

Last night, the Kiehl's store in Santa Monica hosted a great event, an environmental partnership with Michael C. Hall and Chloë Sevigny in support of the Waterkeeper Alliance, an organization dedicated to preserving and protecting our water. One of our dear friends, Rob Imig is a VP over at Kiehl's, so when we can, we always support these great events. My sister and brother were also on hand to rock along with the Hollywood crowd and a good time was had by all!

Today Salma and I did a little bit of shopping, we headed to the Westchester Country Club in Rye to check out what's new from crewcuts. Other than the sweet lolly pops they had for the kiddies there, Salma made out pretty well!

Scarves for Spring...

I love wearing a scarf and even with spring approaching I love the idea of having a light gauzy wrap to accessorize with. Fabsugar had a great selection to choose from and of course here is my girl GP rockin' a gray scarf.

Sweets of all sweets...

We love these amazing Argentinean sweets, known as alfajores. When we hear of anyone taking a trip down there we beg them to bring some back. No trip to Argentina would be complete without tasting the delectable alfajor- a sweet treat made of two buttery cookies with Dulce De Leche smeared in the middle. Argentineans eat them for breakfast, for dessert and as a snack in the afternoon. One of our dear friends is there right now on Holiday and she knows that she better not return without bringing these back!
